“The Killing Game Show” released in 1990 for Amiga and Atari ST, is a distinctive video game developed by Raising Hell Software and published by Psygnosis. Known for its challenging gameplay and innovative mechanics, the game combines elements of platforming and shooting within a futuristic game show scenario, where players must navigate through deadly obstacle courses that rise steadily out of a lethal liquid.
For the Mega Drive version under the name “Fatal Rewind“, released in collaboration with Electronic Arts, Psygnosis once again enlisted Roger Dean to create the cover art. Unfortunately, only a fraction of this stunning artwork was visible on the game box. While US customers received a red-tinted poster of the art with their purchase, we are excited to offer this striking piece in its original colors for the first time.
The title logo for “The Killing Game Show” was designed by Tim White. We offer a version of the poster featuring this title, despite the fact that home computer versions did not use Dean’s artwork for their packaging.
